Mum's Flowers

Two years ago today we lost our Mum, we scattered her ashes here at Matilda Bay, this morning we collected a few frangipani flowers from the garden, also a few daisies some of her favourite flowers, we still miss her everyday, she left a gap that will never be filled.
Sara, our daughter came down, she followed in her own car, usually we all go together, usually we give each other the biggest hugs, but not today, we wondered what Mum would have made of that?
Electronic signs flashed at cars going by stating "Regions are now closed, penalties apply" a stark warning not to leave our region, fortunately for us Matilda Bay is still within our region, there was plenty of space there for social distancing,  a few families were around, but all were adhering to the restrictions.
I was edgy at first thinking about going to Matilda Bay, but once we were there it felt right for us to be there today.
