Tiny Tuesday ....

.... Happiest color.

I would have to say that red is my happiest color although black is my favorite color .... strange I know. 

My old Nikon is a beautiful shade of dark red and I wanted to use it today as a prop of some kind.  But when I went to look for it I couldn't find it anywhere.  It only stopped working a few months ago and I know it's around here somewhere ... but I just can't find it!

So ... I spent the morning again on the back deck photographing whatever came into camera range.  But it wasn't until late afternoon (after the rain) that I decided on these beautiful tulips for my happy color tiny Tuesday subject.  I've included a yellow tulip in the background as I also like yellow ... it's a happy color as well.  Please have a look large.

While I was on the deck this morning I was surprised to have a female Red-bellied woodpecker land on the suet feeder .... see extra.  I'm going to assume she's the mate to the male that I posted last Friday.  Isn't she lovely ...
