Bluebells, bluebells, get them while you can

The Joe Wicks session was particularly tough this morning. The exercise was determined by the toss of a coin. Heads meant the easy option, tails the hard. There were 15 or 16 tails out of 20 tosses - or so he said!

I crawled to the allotment after that for more sowing, weeding and watering.

After lunch, we walked once again along the lanes at the foot of the North Downs vis Sandy Lane, Crismill Lane, the Pilgrims Way and Water Lane back to Bearsted.

It was along Sandy Lane - which is more of a sunken bridle path - where we saw the most magnificent collection of bluebells yet. They must be at their peak just now. Being a sunken lane we were walking level with the flowers so had a different perspective as they stretched away into the distance from head hight. It's so difficult to capture the intense blue and impossible to capture the rich scent of these flowers. I'll just have to leave the latter to your imagination.

Until we came across the bluebells, today's blip was going to be the superb apple blossom at the allotment. I've included a shot as an extra. Hopefully, the blossom will appear in its own right soon.

This evening it's my turn for the Rock Choir Live Zoom tutorial. All the basses together mangling "A Hard Day's Night
