We Will Remember Them

Today is ANZAC Day in New Zealand and Australia, our two Countries may be fiercely competitive against each other, in Battle we will stand and fight shoulder to shoulder, Tooth and Nail with honour and Valour to protect those who are being oppressed . This year Public Memorial Services have been canceled because of Covid_19, our Veterans are now in the Vulnerable Group because of their age.  Rapa 72, Served in Vietnam with Victor 5 Company and is like many this morning standing at the end of his driveway at Dawn remembering those who Served and come back and the memory of 4 of his fallen Comrades. When I joined the Army all my instructors had served in Vietnam. Today our Forces are actively involved in Peace Keeping work through out the world.
They shall grow not old

As we that are left grow old

Age shall not weary them

Nor the years condemn

At the going down of the sun

And in the morning

We will remember them

We will remember them.

E kore rātou e kaumātuatia

Pēnei i a tātou kua mahue nei

E kore hoki rātou e ngoikore

Ahakoa pēhea i ngā āhuatanga o te wā

I te hekenga atu o te rā

Tae noa ki te aranga mai i te ata

Ka maumahara tonu tātou ki a rātou

Ka maumahara tonu tātou ki a rātou.
