Inside queue

The fridge was starting to look bare, and the milk was running out, so I ventured forth to Tesco. It was rainy outside, so we had to queue in the aisle of things nobody buys, turning left when we reached the clothes section, instead of in the car park.

It dawned on me that this new depressing, fearful way of shopping is likely to become the norm. It also occurred to me that people are less likely to notice if you have a problem with BO.

Got another crossword clue. I’m not entirely convinced by it, but it vaguely works:

7D Avoiding strong drink, ending revolution (5-10)
SHORT-CIRCUITING

What do you think?
