Wet

A fair bit of rain over the past couple of days has freshened things up a bit, and helped the plants grow.

It's about two weeks since I last shared this view from Moorside across Gill Beck Valley and Spring Wood to Hawksworth. The wood is looking a lot greener.

The wet and the and cooler temperatures also means that the butterflies have gone back into hiding, but I did find one Green Hairstreak on Moorside (extra).
