CARNATION

Neil messaged to say that he and Rachael would be doing their weekly shop in Morrisons and did I want anything.  I didn't really need anything but of course if I said so then I wouldn't get to see Neil so I asked for a few random things - one of which was a bunch of flowers. Neil and Rachael  arrived around 2pm.  Its a fortnight since I have seen them.  Had a bit of a catch up and then they were off.

After they left I had a nap on the sofa.  Then I stirred myself to do a bit of gardening.  I mowed the back lawn and the grass in the cat enclosure.  That's always a bit of a faff as I need to move a couple of heavy " cat trees " and some flower pots.  And I have to lock the cats indoors which they weren't happy about. I intended mowing the front lawn but it started raining heavily before I could do that.

I was going to blip the bluebells which are beside my back gate but I left it too late and the rain came. So here is one of the carnations Neil brought.  As I was taking the shot I realised I could see a little face.  I have learned from other blippers that this is called Pareidolia.( Its where you interpret random images, or patterns of light and shadow, as faces).  Thanks to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday

In other news ....my prescription arrived this morning.  Hooray! Just waiting for The Radio Times now - it usually lands on my doormat every Tuesday without fail.  Oh well --- another casualty of the present situation.
