LD 42 Little Brother's Challenge

There are a lot of social media challenges about during lockdown - naming your favourite films , books, meals and many other things.

I have fought shy of all of them as I am busy enough but my younger brother sent me one yesterday in these terms :

day two: i have been challenged by Katarina Winslow to share my life each day for a week. no words, only b&w pics. i also have to challenge someone new every day. so today i challenge Michael Russell

and although I was about to refuse, I then thought that as I post a picture every day here (and have done for the last 10 years or so)  I might as well take that as an invitation to think a bit more creatively. 

That very explanation may have already breached the terms  of the challenge by saying what I am doing, so here is the first and without further words ....sort of.
