Landing Stage Launch

When Jack heron is perched on the island landing stage and we appear he usually flies west away from us. Today he launched east towards us.

I saw my first damselfly of the season, a red, before lunch on a field maple but failed to capture it. After lunch we went serious damsel hunting. I found some, though no reds. I got pics but hope to better them. I got a shot of my first malachite beetle of 2020. It was lovely to see my first little yellow underwing moth near the coltsfoot seedheads. (Extras)
