Now, as I see it......

Dereliction

Back round the Seven Stile Walk again this morning so that I could use this for my blip.  Although I have done the walk many times this has only just become visible as it used to be completely hidden by an overgrown hedge which has now been removed.  Quite a lot of fences are also being replaced and general improvement works are going on so I wonder if there are any plans for this; either renovation or more likely, demolition?  It is an outbuilding to 'The Grange'.  Crawley Grange was built in 1526 for Cardinal Wolsey and a plaque records that Queen Elizabeth I stayed there in 1575.  It was extended in later centuries and more recently has been converted into a small number of very grand and expensive houses and apartments.

Cleaned the barbecue this morning so something tasty will be going on there shortly in preparation for our weekly online Quiz Night!
