Forget Me Not

The surprising thing about this image is that this is how it came out of the camera. So nothing done to it apart from processing the raw image.

This morning I had been experimenting with a hand held slow exposure and altering the zoom while the image was recorded. When I saw it this afternoon I could not even remember what it was originally. Finally I remembered, it is pink blossom which has fallen onto the grass.

I suppose strictly speaking this is not foliage, but the effect is quite pleasant I thought. There is also an extra which does contain some foliage, but is less abstract.
