Moth (not)Eaten

On a couple of nights lately we've had these big (9cm across) moths trying to get in. This one didn't manage it but has been sitting on the gauze door all day. I'm surprised a bird hasn't taken it for a meal. (Sorry at the attempt at a pun in the title).
It's funny that despite being so similar, moths just aren't as likeable as butterflies.
I'm not sure if it's just my machine but there seems to be a lot more detail in large.


Helen and Omar are coming up tonight. I've been doing a bit of baking and had a couple of walks down to Mr isbi's new fire. The grandchildren are coming down tomorrow and we are planning to cook sausages on it.
