Lockdown Day 60 - Looking East at Sunset

The Bass Rock and Craigleith are two islands at the entrance to the Forth seen here from my diningroom window.

The cloud just intruding at the top is the leading edge of cirrostratus/altostratus associated with an approaching warm front. The view from the bedroom window, at the other side of the house, is totally dark grey as the frontal cloud thickens.

There has been no wind all day and the sea is very much like a millpond.

I liked the atmosphere of this view and hope you do too.
