Weir

By lunchtime, the wind was howling around the flat, but MrM and I had underestimated its strength until we went out for a walk this evening. Intending to go up to the Pin Well, we turned off the High Street to go up the hill and immediately found ourselves battling against gusts so strong that it was difficult to stay upright!

Thinking that a walk by the river might be preferable we changed direction, but didn't stay out long. Eyes full of grit, we returned to the flat to watch a film.

Stopped briefly by the Wooler Water for a few shots. At times, the wind blew sprays of water back up the weir, but didn't manage to catch it on camera...
