Cruck cottage

Another jog-by phone shot in Walcote . The Cruck cottage , built using timber crucks. It’s older than it looks dating back to 1385. I like the blue irises and you can see the S shaped end plate of the tie going through the house. I suppose we all need a bit of support as we get older. 
It always has a beautifully kept garden.
