Wanderings & Witterings

Carron

After the unseasonal gales and heavy rain of Saturday, it was good to wake up to somewhat improved weather on Sunday.

After watching our recorded weekly church service and then a recorded webinar from the Church of Scotland, it was time to stretch the legs and go for a walk. I was ready for a change of scenery, so I took a longer walk than my usual daily stroll - a walk along to Denny, a wee wander along the River Carron (today's Blip) and a walk back home.

The app on my phone said I had walked 11.43km (just over seven miles). Most of it was along pavements and beside relatively busy-ish roads, so it wasn't exactly pleasant walking. However, it was good to get out and extend my recent horizons.

Thanks to everyone who commented on or 'liked' my recent 1825th Blipversary! Much appreciated.
