Stoodley Pike from Afar

Out on the bikes first thing this morning to make the most of the weather.  We had another explore to the Calderdale border on a little road behind Ogden moor.  Amazing views both on our side and t'other.  Main blip is of Warley Moor Reservoir with Stoodley Pike in the distance.  Couldn't tell if the reservoir was super low or if they were doing work on it, but either way I've cancelled by weekly bath today just in case.

Caution to any cyclists - this route was stunning (lots of curlews and lapwings on the tops too) but the road up to the mast from Oxenhope is a killer.  Got passed by someone obviously much fitter than me who exclaimed 'it's like a wall isn't it?'  not easy, but worth it at the top.

Cheated a bit with the blip today and two extras, one is a view down the Worth valley, the other into Calderdale.  Spolit for blips today.

Got a warrior women class at the earlier time of 2pm today, it will be fun to see how my legs hold out.  Also waiting for the washing machine to finish in the hope that the shed key is in there after being left in a pocket.  There's certainly something clunking around in there so fingers crossed.

Today's Soundtrack: Song for the UV House Mouse  by Jenny and the Mexicats (the trumpet is just so catchy)
