Watching this grey heron...

... from across the river, the bird was clearly in need of a fishy lunch. In the 15 minutes the heron was in action, at least five fish were caught and swallowed.

In this particular catch, two fish were devoured in one go - you can just about see them in the beak.

Meanwhile a pair of ducks came into view - they clearly spotted the camera and reacted immediately (see extra) - obviously not wanting to be blipped.
