Cormorant

I went for a walk this morning with my son.  It must have been around 8am, a very sunny day with little breeze and we walked down to the beach.  We were surprised at all the activity on the beach there were a couple of people  standing on boards in the calm sea, several people were swimming, some were fishing and many more groups of people were walking along the beach.  The car park was half full at this early time.  We continued our walk up to White Bridge where this cormorant was drying its wings in the sun.

I then spent a little time on the allotment before it got too hot, some weeding was done and a place found for some Brussel sprouts given to me by another plot holder.

This afternoon I continued to repot the remaining tomato plants which look so much bigger in a large pot.  We were sent a video of our grandson waking up this morning after 11.5 hours sleep, he was just smiling and gurgling, so cute.  Really looking forward to seeing him sometime.
