Ice Ice Baby

At last we had fine sunny weather and most of the day was spent in the garden. I had a short walk to the local shop and on my way spotted this ice-cream van. It was just parked, not operational, reminded me of Allan "Dicky" Bird from the film Comfort and Joy directed by Bill Forsyth.

My album of the day is the 1978 self-titled album "The Cars". I've only just started listening to this album again and realised every song was a hit or at the very least popular on the radio. Great songs with a catchy hook, my highlights are "My Best Friend's Girl" and "Just What I Needed".
