The Edge of the Wold

Evening flight

The sun is setting just to the west of the Old Man of Coniston as seen from the prom at Sandside, a small flight of gulls is heading down the estuary towards Morecambe Bay.  We don't see big flights of gulls at this time of the year during the breeding season.

It was an uneventful day, the highlight being going for my four month blood test. The waiting room was in the car park in the sunshine, then called in with all doors being opened, so I didn't have to touch anything.  It was good to see H again, albeit hidden behind a face mask and PPE, and strange to think that apart from Mrs G, this is the only time in nearly three months that I have been within touching distance of anyone else.  Results next week.
