Spring is in the Air

Working at home today so Jasper and I went out for a lunchtime walk.

I spotted these flowers at the side of the road at the edge of a field.

It's a Lesser Celandine or Pilewort. Apparently good for haemorrhoids according to the Internet.

They were a flash of yellow brilliance in an otherwise dull patch of ground.
