Little egret

Little dog had two walks today and it was the second on an evening MMT to the river, organised by Rich, that we found this little egret fishing. What an expert - fish after fish; he's not going to go hungry!

We also found a female mandarin duck with three chicks but I'm afraid they don't have the male's splendour to win me over compared to this fisherman.  I've no idea what that fish is but it could be a mandarin if the colour is anything to go by ;)
