More Blue Flowers

These are the same flowers that were in the picture with the lamp posts yesterday. I am informed the flowers are iris. I tried for a similar processing effect also. It may not be exactly the same, but the processing steps were the same.

It was just starting to rain as I took this picture. It has been cloudy all day, but largely dry up to this point. Looks like rain has set in for the rest of the day now. Consequently there were not many people around. I have noticed the cafes seem to be doing fairly well with take away coffees etc.

Where there were external tables available I saw they were being used despite the weather. Though I am not sure why this counts as "takeaway" when the tables are on the same property as the cafe.
