Curlew

Five minutes out on the yard and in the garden with the camera before lunch. The results were a shot of the heifers, a few more of a swallow and these two: a curlew looking for its lunch on the barley field and a wagtail (extra) in the slurry pits.

Did the annual subsidy paperwork (or most of it) in the morning, then started cleaning the barn and the silage pits. The first thing to do was packing all the bale wrapping in the van and taking it to a recycling container at the heifers' home farm.
