An alternate view of the world?

Or simply a soap bubble, which is something I've learned to do in the macro photog workshop I'm taking. This too was a lot of fun -- and the perfect thing to do at home when the temps reach 90+ and the humidity makes the air feel like cotton.

I'm enjoying that workshop.  Some of the techniques (like focus stacking and shooting refractions in droplets) are interesting but require the patience of a saint and I don't have that. Other techniques (such as photographing soap bubbles or oil and water) are great and remind me a bit of street photography: you have to be ready to snap the pic if something interesting presents itself and what you're looking at is constantly moving :)
