Ominous skies

And rumbles of thunder when I was putting the bins and recycling out, but just a few drops of rain. It was full of humming (not tooting or quacking) bees, and the honeysuckle has gone wild but smells gorgeous. I liked the way the lavender looked against the sky, spotted as I was pulling some weeds up from the block paving. I have to confess to neglecting this a bit while I have been decorating, but it does look better. I will finish off tomorrow. A lavender has even seeded itself in the brickwork! It is a trade off as “weeds” are good for nature.
