Bumblebees

Not much time today with lots of photographic society business.  The bumblebees have finally discovered the lavender.  I grabbed 10 minutes with my macro lens, which is nowhere near long enough to get bees in focus.  Here are three slightly blurry bees, but three different types.  From the left: Red-tailed (Bombus lapidarius), Buff-tailed (Bombus terrestris) and Garden (Bombus hortorum).  I also saw a Common Carder, a Forest Cuckoo and a Tree Bumblebee, so expect lots more bee photos, hopefully in focus next time.
