White Ghyll, Great Langdale

Back out with client C today, simply fabulous to be teaching my favourite day, again, Steep Ground.
Some great learning and skill transfer from C ( he's a climber so was clearly comfortable with the rope), he took on board new ideas and top tips really quickly - if that's the him that goes for assessment in August then it's in the bag. I had to smile when he told me about belaying his 3yr old daughter across the back garden, what a lovely mental picture.

We didn't get the stunning weather a lot of the country seems to have enjoyed but:
(a) I think we won when it came to a view
&
(b) it's easier in good weather when the rocks dry, hands are warm, you're not fighting the elements. Practice as hard as you can so you'll assess as easy as you can.

Extra is Stonecrop which was looking fabulous everywhere. As were the foxgloves, butterworts and sundew.
