A beautiful ruby-throated hummer (backblip)

I relocated the hummingbird feeders, so I could watch them from our back patio. this little ruby-throat was my first visitor. Sometimes I wonder why the female doesn't have that beautiful red collar instead of the male, but of course nature has its own reasons. I just don't always agree! The extra blip doesn't capture the beautiful red because he is leaning over to sip some sugar water from the feeder.
