Magenta delight - is there such a thing?

Another day of the new pattern - wet overnight, dull in the morning, hot in the afternoon. I could live with that! Didn't go for a walk today - can't remember why! Sat out with Jane Austen and Emma again and decided to do a spot of gardening later, so here's a quick Blip.

It's Brachyscome 'Magenta Delight' which I bought last year to put into one of the pots at the front door. I took cuttings at the end of the year just in case, but the plant survived the winter outside and tho' maybe not back to its former glory is doing OK. The flowers are quite small, probably only an inch across - 2.54 centimetres for the younger Blipper! - but quite cheerful, as many daisies are.

Quote of the Day:

Matshona Dhliwayo - ” In a world full of daisies dare to be a rose.”
