Went to visit the birds at Flamborough and had a spectacular ruby-tailed wasp momentarily land on my knee - a most exciting and long-awaited find. And this new discovery... a type of square-headed wasp. I particularly liked his yellow and white socks.

Little Dog didn't come because it was too hot so we've just enjoyed a post-storm walk through damp fields with cooling air.
