The end of the rainbow...

...as seen from my bedroom window.  We've missed all the thunderstorms but we got a shower this morning and it's cooled the air down.

We would have been on the 9am flight from Gatwick to Pisa this morning on our way to the Trasimeno Music Festival.  It's Angela Hewitt's festival in the little towns around Lago Trasimeno in Umbria where she has a holiday home.  Angela is currently locked down in London, hugely missing her international piano concerts, and playing short pieces for her many fans on Facebook every day.  I wonder if anyone else saw her Wigmore Hall Bach recital on Thursday lunchtime?  The recitals have been so strange in an empty hall.  The month of recitals ended yesterday with a heart-rending performance of Schubert's Winterreise by Mark Padmore and Mitsuko Uchida.
