Final Approach

The wind has dropped to just a breeze today and we have had some nice bright periods between light showers.  The water droplets have given a curious out of focus background to this four spotted chaser.

The collapsed arch from yesterday is, I fear,  a write-off as the frame had rusted through in several places.  We had to cut the clematis back to a very low level as it was threaded through the side mesh of the arch but hopefully it will regrow.
