Sirop de menthe

Mint and flowers from the garden, but haven't managed to grow limes yet :-)

Fresh for the summer. A shame the weather doesn't quite match the mood - dull and drizzly again today.
Had an amusing drive into the depths of the French countryside while taxiing Oliver - he's filming a web series with some friends from school and I don't know how they've chosen some of their locations, but it really is la France profonde - villages spread over several kilometres, the mayor's office in one place, the church a few miles up the road, dilapidated barns and cows but barely a house in between!
Can't wait to see what they've filmed!
