Dark skies over the Øresund

I dropped off the eldest at a kayak summer camp this morning and on the way back spotted this dramatic view from Amager strandpark. In the distance is the famous Øresund bridge.

I came back this afternoon for a paddle myself. I like this area, it's not particularly wild and it can be downright busy on sunny warm days but it's so accessible. The water is warm at this time of year and sheltered so it is ideal for learning to kayak and paddle board.

I have been thinking a lot lately about how to enjoy the outdoor life without destroying the environment (I think this article is really good on that: https://adventureuncovered.com/stories/building-a-sustainable-outdoor-community-after-covid-19/?utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=onsiteshare&utm_source=twitter) And clearly one answer is, seek adventures closer to home...
