Getting Ready to Open

In addition to the two hotels in Queen's Road this establishment, a pub/restaurant, is preparing to open tomorrow. Tables and a marquee set up in Queen's Terrace Gardens.

I had noticed the weather today was a bit changeable so I thought I better get out while there was a period of a couple of hours looking like it would stay dry. Shortly after I got back we had quite a heavy shower. It is also quite breezy today.

The weather is one of the factors which will likely ensure I fail to take advantage of these outdoor hostelries. It is seldom the weather in Aberdeen is conducive to the kind of outdoor lifestyle enjoyed in Italy and elsewhere.
