Still-life with Campanula

Rain for most of the day - at least it’s helping to wash all the dust off the leaves of the plants.  (I have tried with a hose-pipe but some of it has been hard to remove.)

Exploring a slightly different theme to yesterday as I wasn’t sure the light was quite right to light the scene.  I used the same table but used some small LED lights and stood the vase in front of a background.  I’ve been wanting to explore the kind of washed out high key look, so my first attempt with flowers.  I’ve added the texture background this morning as I woke very early (and it’s still raining!)

We had two of the workmen back for an hour this morning to finish off a job.  They will be back when it’s all dried out to apply the final waterproofing coat to the stonework.
