Unexpected Abstract

Yesterday as I was sorting through the cupboard where I keep fabrics, I came across this piece and thought it would make a good abstract shot sometime.  When I saw that today's theme is 'an unexpected abstract' I got it back out to photograph.  I think the fact that I was not looking for an abstract at the time fits the brief of unexpected.  This is Straight Out Of Camera.  Thank you Ingeborg for continuing to host this challenge.
