Marjorie's ramblings

Thinking of gardens

Following two days of long walks, I allowed myself a lie-in this morning. Very pleasant it was too.

Then I cleaned Mum's lounge. I've been doing it regularly, but today I "bottomed it". Cat hairs do get everywhere. It looks great now. Just the rest of the house to do!!

I had a brief walk through the village to post some cards. The theme for the photo group this week is "An Image from a Garden" so I thought I might try out some ideas today. I photographed Maggie's garden, but the image I have used is from Sally and Ray's.

I have applied the Art History brush for the impressionist feel.

Sharon came to talk about Mum's care when I'm in hospital. She is a star and is prepared to help us out flexibly, depending on what we need at the time. I had a long chat to Annette too. She was full of good advice for how to make sure that carers are tested for Covid 19 before starting.

I feel much happier about the decision to have the operation now.

Today is the first day that Mum has not had severe pain in her left eye. Fingers crossed. Oh no, that's no good because I am not superstitious!
