Stripy Brown Long-bodied Fly

Today was warm, 16ºC for a while. Creatures that usually hibernate came out to enjoy it, including this strange long-bodied fly, sunning itself on the outside of the greenhouse.

Sorry I’ve been out of things lately. I’ve been making the most of the dry weather to get some gardening done. Overdoing it as usual, and feeling wrecked.
