Another Tiny Insect

This (sadly deceased) creature is a new addition to my mini-museum of insects which have met their end on our windowsills. I was rather taken with its lovely stripey abdomen and its beady eyes. It's pretty small, only about 10mm long and about 4mm wide. (Photographed with macro lens & extension tubes, with an in-camera focus stack.)

(Apologies that it's a bit dusty - I was worried that if I tried to dust it it might fall apart!)

Many thanks to dbifulco for hosting..I've just seen that she's blipped insect life too today, but hers seem very much alive and enjoying themselves!!
