40 day and 40 nights?

Never sure how much to believe old sayings but looking at the next week's forecast, the if 'it rains on St Swithens day .... '  this could well be the case.

An EB from the window as had no energy today - the septic tank job is finished, just some clearing up for us to do but will wait for drier weather as lower bit of the garden is a potential mud bath.  All the soil excavated from the enormous hole they dug, has been spread over that part of the garden.  Good for a new veggie area but will need some serious work removing stones and bracken etc that is in/under the soil.
