A good start

The rain seems to have left us for the time being and it has turned into a pleasant day. More heat on the way for the weekend though. It won't be long before the grass stops growing now and there will be less mowing.
Our schools are scheduled to open after Labor Day now that we are getting  more positive cases of Covid-19. That will be three weeks later than usual and is supposed to give the schools more time to prepare, spacing desks and tables, sanitizing, and planning for frequent hand washing and goodness knows what else. All schools will not be delaying. Many in sparsely populated counties have few cases of infection and I'm sure will stick to the original calendar. a big muddle!
