St Ninians Open Cast Mine...

Just up the road from us is a massive landscaping project that was never finished.  It was by a landscape artist named Charles Jencks. The site changed hands and the project was abandoned. It is however in a good enough state for a nice wee interesting walk. I've always wanted to see it and got a brill day for it.

The daughter wanted to venture up some of the other hills but the son was over it so we'll come back. There was a photo I really want to take up here but need to bring the skateboard.
