Rescued By The Heron Rule

Today is Abstract Thursday with a theme of "Patterns", but it seems that my muse had taken the day off and I was not excited about any of my pictures.  My husband really liked this picture of the Heron and there is that Heron Rule to consider, so this is the best of the three I manged to snap as he flew away from his camouflage in the trees......
