Our wedding anniversary. I'd planned a longer walk , perhaps with a picnic but the weather forecast last night said rain.
In the end it dried up quite quickly but remained grey and over cast. Picnic abandoned for another day but we did have a lovely local walk. Drove down to Rampside then walked along the coastal path.  A nice peaceful walk with lovely views across Morecambe Bay in one direction, Walney Island in an another and mist covered lake District hills ahead .

I didnt take the camera as I thought it might rain . Blip is of ragwort ( Senecio Jacobaea  for those who are interested ) and a stripy Caterpillar ( of the Cinnabar Moth)
This new found knowledge is courtesy of Google lens. You take the photo,  click and Google gives you the information. Oh the wonders of technology to have all that info at hand.
The flowers look quite pretty considering it is considered a weed.
I shall return in a couple of weeks in the hope of finding the Cinnabar moths  .

Back home , M pottered in the garden while I tackled the Lockdown jigsaw.  Lots of brown striped pieces  today.  Took advantage of the Amazon music app to play some  'blasts from the past . M caught me bopping around the room to ABBA ( well you have to bop to ABBA!)
