THE GLEBE SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB

A few online purchases arrived this morning including a couple of lovely wind spinners.  It was a good day to put them in the garden as its been windy and they have been spinning around like crazy.

The day started off very rainy but by the time I walked down to the village around 4pm it was dry and sunny.  I went back to the Post Office to have another go at posting my parcel. I had stuck on a label with a Freepost address and this time it was accepted without any bother.  Job done.  Bit of shopping in Herons and Tesco and then home via the Glebe Club.

The Mono Monday theme for today is restricted/restricting . I have blipped the Glebe as its a private club where entry is restricted to members only.  It costs £5 to become a member and the yearly " subs " are £2.50.  Thanks to 60plus for hosting.

The Glebe houses facilities for the local football and cricket teams and there is a bar and lounge as well as a patio area and beer garden. I have spent many happy times there over the years - watching Neil play cricket and doing the cricket teas.  Neil started off in the Under 11 team and worked his way up to the First Team.
