Club Root

My allotment had club root (a fungal infection of the roots of brassicas, such as Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, turnip and swede, leading to swollen and distorted roots and stunted growth.) when I first took it over years ago.  It has gradually diminished over the years but I had one cauliflower (which tasted great) but when I pulled up the root I saw the dreaded clubbed roots.  So it has not completely gone.
