Father And Daughter

Went for lunch with my daughter today, she had the Hot Chocolate with the Marshmallow, me a plain old Latte. Paul Simon song was playing in background through the cafe's music system, "There could never be a father, love his daughter more than I love you" summed up my afternoon nicely.

My wife took delivery of her new car, immediately put car in garage and retreated to our local bar to take her mind off her bank balance.

My album of the day is "The Stone Roses" self-titled 1989 record by The Stone Roses. Reminded of this album after watching programme about Rockfield Studios in Wales. Not a bad track on the record, my favourite being "I Want To Be Adored" belted out every week at Celtic Park with the new moniker "I Want To Be Edouard". An album fusing dance and rock with catchy hooks, rich guitar riffs, blending sixties psychedelic pop and eighties dance grooves.
